Auric Movement LLC respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe content on Auric OS infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent at the address below.
1. Designated Agent
Attn: Copyright Agent
Email: auricmovement@outlook.com (subject line: "DMCA Notice")
We respond to properly-formed DMCA notices within 10 business days.
2. What a valid DMCA takedown notice must include
Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must contain all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or someone authorized to act on their behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (a description, plus a link or copy of the original if available).
- Identification of the material on Auric OS you claim is infringing, including the URL (e.g.,
app.auricmovement.com/listings.html) and enough detail for us to locate it. - Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Notices missing any of these elements may be ignored or delayed.
3. Counter-notification
If we remove material based on a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., the Southern District of New York), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original claimant. If they do not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed material.
4. Repeat infringers
Per 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Auric Movement LLC will terminate the account or submission privileges of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.
5. False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents either that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages — including costs and attorneys' fees — incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or Auric Movement LLC.
6. What we host
Auric OS is a venue directory and a small set of creator tools. The content on the Platform consists of: (a) original copy we wrote ourselves; (b) factual information about venues sourced from public sources (venue websites, public business listings, public Instagram profiles); (c) community submissions through our Suggest a Venue, future creator profile, venue review, and success story features. We do not currently host third-party uploaded images, audio, video, or long-form text content beyond user-submitted text.
