Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: May 2026 · Last updated: May 2026
1. Our Commitment
Auric Movement LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility on Auric OS (the "Platform"). We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
2. Conformance Status
The Platform aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and recognized by New York State and New York City accessibility guidelines.
3. Measures We Take
To support accessibility, the Platform includes:
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for assistive technologies
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, filters, and forms
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- Alt text on meaningful images and icons
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text
- Responsive layouts that work on mobile and desktop
- Honoring the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting where animations are used - Labeled form fields and clear button text
- Touch targets that meet the 44×44px minimum on mobile
4. Venue Accessibility Information
For each venue listed on the Platform, we provide accessibility details where available — subway access, elevator availability, ADA-compliant entrances, and known accessibility limitations. This information is sourced from publicly available data and venue websites and may not always be current. If accessibility is critical for your event, we strongly recommend contacting the venue directly to confirm:
- Step-free entry and route to the event space
- Accessible restrooms
- Elevator availability and dimensions
- Service animal policies
- Visual or auditory accommodations
- Sensory-friendly options if relevant
Auric Movement LLC is a directory and does not operate the venues we list. Final accessibility decisions, and any necessary accommodations, are the responsibility of the venue and the event organizer.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Auric Concierge (the AI assistant) renders dynamic chat content that may not always announce updates optimally to screen readers. We are working to improve
aria-livecoverage in chat responses. - The Budget Calculator's real-time numerical updates may not be announced by all screen readers. We are working to add explicit announcements.
- Third-party services embedded on the Platform (e.g., the Cloudflare Worker proxy for Auric Concierge) follow those providers' accessibility implementations, which we cannot fully control.
6. Compatibility
The Platform is designed to work with the most recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and to be compatible with assistive technologies including:
- VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
- NVDA and JAWS (Windows)
- TalkBack (Android)
- System-level keyboard navigation
We don't actively test against older or unmaintained browsers. If you encounter issues, please let us know.
7. Feedback & Requests
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Platform, need information in an alternative format, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
Email: auricmovement@outlook.com
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
8. Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a fixed milestone. We regularly review the Platform and make improvements as we learn from feedback and as the WCAG standard evolves.
